Constant Wattage Tank Heater
Nelson Type VH Silicone Tank Heating Panels are constructed with high temperature resistance elements vulcanized between two thin layers of fiberglass reinforced silicone rubber, and a stainless steel sheath which provides additional mechanical protection and a ground path for hazardous area installations. The unique panel construction provides a rugged, water and chemical resistant sheath with good flexibility down to - 70°F.

The use of surface heating panels on metallic tanks and vessels provides larger amounts of heat in smaller areas than when heating cables are used. The labor to install heating panels is less than a comparable heating cable installation. The heating panels high concentration of heat allows for significant heat up capacity to be installed on the tank surface or for the heat to be focused on a smaller area when low fluid levels in the vessel require heat.
